I find the plot of the book interesting, although sometimes the action was a bit slowly moving forward. I’m more into fast paced books probably that is why I didn’t like this one so much.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting coming-of-age story following a young man who is inspired by the author and contains several five stories about pivotal events in his life. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

This sounds like an interesting coming-of-age book that is written about the author as he grapples with weighty issues such as sexuality, grief and the things that go hand-in-hand with being an adolescent male. These subjects seem a bit too heavy to read right now. I did enjoy the author’s voice in the opening pages about how he came to wrote the book, but the contents of this one just don’t appeal to me.

This is the fictional account of a young man growing up and discovering his sexuality. The story is emotionally charged. The characters are realistic and well developed. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for this interesting review.
