The book has a striking name. I normally dont lime true event books but because its a bit of fiction also it makes it more interesting. I like the character is a woman string willed and a leader by nature. It reminds me of women like Joan of Arc. Great historical women sets great and honorable ways to folliw in tbeir footsteos even though some are not always the best leaders but for a wimen to make history is a great accomplishment to be respected.

The weeping woman of putten is a must read for lovers of war stories. Especially when it involves people who actually witnessed and experienced this atrocity. I’m not a lover of war stories, but this review and the sample has captured my attention and made want to read more. Congratulations 🎊 for being BOTD.

I always found the history boring , but how irony that this book give interest in me... I love stories with a strong woman character but I don't like an exaggerated character.

It sounds amazing. I personally love books about the Second World War, there are so many stories of people that we don't know. I find even more interesting the fact that she (the autor) talked to people that actually lived that time, it makes it even more fascinating and real.

Thanks for the awesome review. Whereas I like historical fictions, a book in the backdrop of WWII would not be my cup of tea. I'll probably skip this one.

Thanks for the review. I'm not generally a fan of historical war fiction, but I liked the sample pages for this book.

What an absolutely harrowing thing to have to endure. Regardless of if the protagonist is too headstrong, this book sounds riveting, to say the least.

I know that history have to be told , even the bad stuff, but I really dont handle mistreatment or abuse of others well. During the nazi time there was plenty of cruelty. Sp because of that and that I am not big on reading history, this book isn't for me. congratulations on BOTD .

I love stories about World War II. This was such a difficult war and the enemies of America were horrible people. Hitler of course was one of the most hated men in history. I am very interested in this book.

A historical fiction book that's based on true events sounds intriguing. The book tells the story of the Nazi war crime against the town of Putten. It's seems like an engaging book.

I thought,The Weeping Woman of Puttin raffle give away preview, was like any other war story. Too many unnecessary details about the surroundings and the main characters thoughts. There was spacing issues from page 2 on. I don't like when the names of characters are hard to enunciate, it distracts me from the storyline, as I am trying to figure out the correct name and then remembering them.
The book had too many similarities to other war books for my own taste. I would give it a 1 out of 4.
