Not a fan of Mafia-type books, but this one sounds good. Will go to Amazon and get them both! Thank you for the review!

The protagonist of this story with a criminal background, and he is out there to help his deceased friend to find his son Bill. I didn't read the first part of this story, but this second part gives a brief idea about the first part, and it sounds quite interesting.

That's interesting -- the detailed summary of the previous novel at the opening of the new one. The downside to this is that the reader might lose interest in reading the previous novel. I rather that only backstories should be given in apt places of the story, sort of reminiscence by the character. Nevertheless, it is always better to read for yourself a story, rather than just being told how it went. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. I agree that the concise summary of the previous book placed just before the beginning was a great help to those who didn't read the first one. However, I am not keen on mafia stories and going to pass this one.

This is like the story that happened in the village where he lived, an ex-convict who tried to do good amid the bad predicate he was bearing.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime thriller novel following mobster Frankie Fiore after getting out of jail for being a witness against his former mafia boss. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Nice review! This sounds like the kind of book my brother would enjoy. Action packed, mob action, etc. It's not my cup of tea so I'll take a pass, but congrats on BOTD

If you are interested in reading a non-fiction crime novel packed w'ith action and suspense the book by Al Marsiquite entitled " By Hook or Crook'' is the book to read .This is a continuation from the first book which tells the story of influence and power that the mafia organization had in the everyday society. The title is a clear statement that this organization operated by any means possible in today's world.

This is a crime novel with characters in the Italian Mafia. It is the second book in the Frankie Fiore series. Congratulations to the author for writing this fun and exciting story and for being chosen as BOTD. Great review! Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

Thank you. Your book review made the book sounds really interesting. Normally I would have disliked any plots dotted with foul language but maybe I will look past that for this book.
