This book may seem helpful to those who are dealing with the same scenario as described in the book. Though it can also be a great addition to those who want to be informed about the hardships or experiences of raising children of others. Congratulations on BOTD

The fact that a lot of grandparents are raising their grandchildren is absolutely true. A lot is happening in the world these days and majority of children are affected from a very young age itself. This book can be a great help for grandparents to raise children with proper care and plenty of love.

This book resonates with me for many reasons. My aunt raised her grandchild, and it was a financial struggle for her. My sister has played a vital role in caring for her grandchildren which takes away the joy that the role of being a grandparent usually entails. As a former teacher, I had many students being raised by grandparents for various reasons. The grandparents would share with me the difficulties and fears they faced in this role. But, they felt this was the right thing to do. I wish these grandparents could have had this book. It would have been a great encouragment for them. I would recommend this book to anyone in this position. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I had no idea that grandparents raising their grandchildren were so common, actually the whole thing is much more interested to me when I think it isn't, makes me want to know all the issues and tips since it would be rare to happened again.
But all the advices and inspirational stories that she share at the book are indeed really helpful if we use it as raising/educational research on the topic in general and not only valid when apply to grandparents and grandchildren.

A well-reseached book sharing the author's experience while raising her grandchildren. I like it that she did an extensive research on topics such as grief, stress, health, behavior problems, learning, play, communication, and many more. This is a suitable read for grandparents who need a little guidance on how to raise their grandchildren.

Since I don't have kids, nor grandkids, this book is not for me. But it sounds like it contains some good info for those who do! Great review!

In my opinion, this book is an essential one as it is highly relevant in real life, especially to grandparents and educators. I believe parents can also learn from the author's wealth of experience. I love the title; it clearly states the content of the book.
