Suspenseful Thriller & Horror Book Recommendations

Post by yamisbookshelf »

Hello Everyone,

I have been reading many suspenseful thrillers lately. I need book recommendations similar to B.A Paris writing and plot storylines. Behind Closed Doors by the author B.A. Paris has been one of my all-time favorite suspenseful thrillers I have read in a long time.

I also love horror books, so please comment on any of the above mentioned genres and why you recommend them to me.

Thank you so much in advance,
Yami

You should read Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. It is a great psychological thriller. You should check out her work. She is my favorite psychological thriller author. This book is my favorite too.

Check out a book named little monsters. It is a great horror book. I do not remember the name of the author. It has young(teenage) characters.

No Exit by Taylor Adams is a great thriller. You will be on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Misery by Stephen King is suspenseful and creepy.

If you like horror, I would strongly recommend The Girl Who Couldn't Read, by John Harding. It's one of the best books I have ever read and I still get the chills every time I think of it! The plot was inspired on The Turn of The Screw, by Henry James (also an amazing book).
If you're into supernatural horror, the book Long Lankin, by Steeleye Span, is incredible as well, but don't read it at night (seriously).

Hello! I have only read one horror book so far and after 6 months I still haven't finished it. It's Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill. For thriller, you can try David Baldacci's books particularly The Memory Man. :)
Stay safe! Sending hugs
