I think the title is catchy, and knowing a little bit about the bible's story, I could understand from beginning the main subject of the book. So, the title is fine and it represents the essence of the history in my opinion.

Even though there are lots of other stories in the book and a section on Abel, I think the title points to the significance of Abel's killing. Further, the title drove me into reading the book; and I think the author chose that title to catch readers' attention. Good job!

I think this title was not relevant to the book as it put up a front of being of a different genre. It is an interesting effective title but maybe not for this book.

I think a book title should be catchy and inviting, it should not necessarily cover the content of the entire book. For me, the title is well chosen.

I think the same. We have to consider that the author wants to reach readers with this story and he needs a catchy title. It's not like the title doesn't make sense, its just a part of the story.

It’s a great title, catchy and arresting, and I really like it. Maybe a sub-title might clarify that this as a bible-based book that includes other stories as well, and identify it as distinct from a fictional novel. Hopefully, this wouldn’t lessen the impact of the original title.

The title fits so well. Had Cain not killed Abel, he wouldn't have fled to Nod where He instigated the building of the city. Had the city not been constructed, I presume there wouldn't have been immorality that led to the destruction of earth by flood

A title of any book needs to bring readers in. Similarly a title isn't there to tell the entire story. That is the job of the story itself. "The Count of Monte Cristo" had many more characters ... but I wouldn't say that the title is "wrong".

I completely agree. Sometimes a title should be a little misleading so that when you open the book, you could be pleasantly surprised. I think the title is catchy and doesn't come across as a religious book but this could possibly pose a problem for atheist readers.

I thought that the book was a crime thriller as well purely from the title. But I think since the title is meant to be catchy and draw attention and it does exactly that.

I think the title works. The murder of Abel seems to be a big focus of the story.

Sometimes you start writing a book and you’ve chosen a title already but the book seems to write itself.

Then why not change it later? After the book has completed writing itself?

Most times I rely on the title to give me an idea of what the book is about.

So that I have an idea which direction I'm being taken.

Exactly, I've also experienced it. After the book was complete I felt the title no longer fit the actual story.

The title could definitly had been other and it wouldnt affect the book but i do think this title is eye catching so it helps with the attention towards the book
