I enjoy the story, but am having some problems with it, so I will probably not rate it. If it was not supposed to be the very first people, the story would be excellent. If Adam and Eve were the first people, it would have been before written language, so Adam would not have named ewe and Eve due to the shapes of the letters w and v. In actuality, he probably would not have spoken English, so ewe would not have been the name of the animal in question. I am also having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that God created Eve because Adam wasn't sexually attracted to any of the animals. Did God really think Adam would be interested in a ewe? It just does not seem plausible to me. There are just too many implausible situations in this book. I am new here. How do the rest of you deal with a book that you feel this way about? Do you go ahead with a review and give your true opinion or do the kind thing and skip it?

What I love about this book is that it is informative and we'll edited. I will rate this book 4 out of stars and recommend it to those who are interested in reading Christian (religious) books.

Tieman did tremendous work putting together his ideas. From my point of view, most of the stories in Killing Abel seem to add up from a man's point of view. I only felt that he went too much to question God's omnipotence. I deduct a mark and give it a 3 out of 4 stars rating.

I reviewed the book and gave it 2 stars because of the professional manner in which it was edited. But the story is just not very good and the overall presentation gravely disappointing, silly, and disrespectful of the source material. It is totally presented from a Christian perspective, and even in that light, it may be seen as blasphemous as it creates three separate gods, totally misconstruing the concept of the Holy Trinity. In addition, the dialogue tends to reflect modern-day colloquialisms and seems entirely out of place.

I am just few pages to the end of this book and i will give a *4 out of 4 stars* .
This is one of the satisfactory Christian books i've read in my life, it's the same Bible stories that i have heard so generally in the past but the writer introduced his unique personal touch pertaining to the stories to our regular lifestyles.
His personal view brought to every story made me suppose extra than standard than the testimonies i used to be advised . The authors ability to give a tremendous view of all events and still relate the movements and response of God to those occasions, portraying him simplest as a loving father who is best involved about the safety of his children makes this e-book unique.

I like how this month and May's book of the month (Grace Revealed) both have a religious focus. It is always interesting to me to see how religion inspires the stories of fiction and nonfiction books alike in completely different ways. The subject matter of Killing Abel makes it a really interesting read.

I haven't finished it yet but I like that this fills in a lot of gaps that help to decipher decisions. However, some of them seem quite unrealistic. Will rate once finished!
