I can feel for Samuel with an already unaccomplished career and life goals. He has to face divorce bringing with it solitude and loneliness. It will be interesting to know how he copes especially when his day dream isn't far from reality. Your review definitely makes this a want to read.

Thanks for a first rate review! Although this sounds like a compelling and deeply emotional story, I think I will take a pass. Life itself is deeply emotional right now, I need light reads for a while. Congrats on BOTD!

All the points that you mentioned make Lingering Poets a winner in my book too, and I had the same impression when I sampled it.
I am not a postman so my dreaming is not about parcels but the houses I see when I walk in my city, namely the people who live in them.
I am very happy that the book has both great characters and an enticing plot.
And I also agree that too much star watching can be boring.
Great review! Thank you!

Mental stress is real and very depressing especially when one feel they did not live the best part of their lives. This book has a lot of suspense, plot and it is thrilling. Also, has a lot of life lessons to be learnt. The author did a great job. Nice review.

I like thrillers and this book seems pretty interesting, full of events and fast paced enough to keep me glued to its pages till the very end. In order to cope with his life Samuel imagined various things some of which happened to be real/ I wonder how the events will unfold. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

What a compelling work of fiction! "Lingering Poets" stands unique and actually provokes a resourceful mind to think beyond our troubles. We go through much pain and disappointments of in-achieved dreams like the case of Samuel. The book argues against despairing and warns that it's not the only possible solution, there could always be something positive on the same. Thanks for the insight!

I actually always imagined postal workers as some adventurous people, or at least people with an interesting life story. It's nice to see such unconventional characters.

Poets got great minds and since their work of art is always a mirror to society, the love of poems got me in this 'lingering poets'.The way the poet has captured the subject matter is so cultivating. The personas pain and disappointments and not giving up drew my attention since myself I'm a go-getter and giving up has never been my portion. Thanks for the wonderful review, I recommend everyone to at least get a glance at it and get inspired as I did.
