Yes, the bible might not have captured everythingbunmiolu wrote: ↑14 Jun 2020, 19:22It's possible some things happened during those times, which the Bible did not capture. That does not make the Bible incomplete. We have everything we need in the Bible. Therefore, the Bible is complete.Sushan wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 10:06 The author gives additional descriptions, which are not found in the original Bible, to the story from creating Adam and Eve, up to the worldwide flood. Most of who has studied the Bible must have had his/her own thoughts regarding these lacking parts. Does this mean that the Bible is incomplete? On the other hand, is it righteous to add after-notes to a religious book like the Bible?

The bible itself says that it is wrong to add to or subtract from it. It is something like a copyrightomar143 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2020, 00:47 i think its complete because it is written and said by jesus anyone who add the words of god will be punish and anyone will reduce will be punish too. Meaning anybody who add and removed the words written in the bible will received great punishment and its not a joke it is happen even in our day today.

Yes, a fictional novel cannot complete it, but it can suggest details for the completionStaceystae wrote: ↑14 Jun 2020, 14:20this is so true, the bible is complete and if its incomplete a fictional novel shouldn't try to complete it whatsoever, because it is somebody's imaginations and creativity

Alot of untold things and hidden things which makes me to wander why certain things were not revealed.
If you in the beginning of the earth, after the creation of Adam n Eve, we don't know how the population grew since we only know two sons were given birth to Adam n Eve .

This is not true. Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel - correct. But, in Genesis 5 it is recorded that Eve gave birth to a third son called Seth. After this, it says that Adam and Eve had "other sons and daughters". At this time, Adam and Eve's children married each other. Though it sounds weird to us, it wasn't to them. Now you know.Maxwil1 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2020, 03:42 Yes the Bible is incomplete.

The Bible is complete because my Lord, Jesus Christ, says it is. Even if I had no evidence, I would still believe this.

Even though I believe the Bible is "complete" (in the sense that it offers all a Christian would ever need), your comment on focusing on the significance of the Bible hits the nail on the head. I also believe this is what is most important.Officialboluwatife wrote: ↑01 Jun 2020, 16:04 Seeing the book is presented as fiction, I see no reason for the comparison. As Christians, I don't think our mind should be after the completeness of the bible. Rather it should be about the significance of the bible we have at hand in our life.

The suggestions are author's mere imagination. But they are the possibilities for what would have happened, yet the bible has no saying aboutCarolreads30 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2020, 06:21 The Bible is complete. This book is a fictional read and thus, it can't be used to compare the additions from it to the Bible.
