Another relevant verse is Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves, we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Another relevant verse is Numbers 27:17 Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the Lord be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

There are so many Bible verses that I find helpful to me during times of trouble and strife. I love to read Psalms and Proverbs, but there are so many other verses.

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. This has been very comforting to me during this great time of unrest in our country.

I know it is an often quoted verse (I believe there is good reason for this), but the Psalm of David is one of my all-time favorites. Whenever I am struggling with doing something that I know isn't right, I think to myself, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." I am also partial to the Revised Standard Version (RSV). I think it keeps the beautiful language without feeling too archaic.

:cooking: :coffee3-smiley: Another relevant verse is Luke 15:18-21 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
