Greg Spry wrote Beyond Cloud Nine is nothing short of a reader's high. It has action, drug and unexpected love. During the craziness of war. Brooke Davis is a ace fighter pilot who has dreamed of the opportunity to be the first human to travel at the speed of light but instead she is thrown into a conspiracy with terrorists aliens and the government of the highest level. Her boss threatens her to keep her mouth shut or she and the whole solar system could lose everything. Can she achieve her dream or does she lose it all by trying to save countless of colonized planets?

The main character Brooke is independent, brave and a risk taker. She is a risk taker because she will do anything possible to save people. People underestimate her because she is American/Japanese. Brooke’s the best space fighter there is because of her prenatal gene and sparks. Taking the nanobotic narcotic helps her have enhanced senses and reflexes but like every drug there is a price. She has a twin Marie and a niece named Maya.

Marie Davis got her chance to do a huge U.N. report on the secretary General but separatists tried to assassinate him at the press conference. Since Brooke came back to earth they have had better communication. They have a better relationship now than when they were kids. Had so little communication back then that she didn't even know her sister had a kid. Professor Kevin Sommerfield had a crush on the twins but he drawn towards Brooke more than Marie.

I liked that Brooke 's last memory of her father was so vivid in my mind. Brooke's space travel was visionary. Not only does it have romance but also family love. The way Greg wrote this book made the words fly off the page to paint a mental picture in your head. Beyond Cloud Nine is the perfect title for this book because it is addicting for us to read. But also Brooke is trying achieve the high of being a space fighter.

This book is for space fantasy lovers. Its for teens and adults because of the profanity. I would rate this book a 4/4. From what I could tell there was not any grammar issues. So what are you waiting for jump into outer space with us so we can get started on this intoxicating ride of a lifetime.
