It sounds quite soap-opera-like with all the plotting and scheming. I can't blame Garrison for wanting to rid himself of Tessie. She seems quite the b***h. Now if he can just remember where he hid the body... Not really my thing, but those who are fond of the genre should enjoy it. Thanks for the review!

Official Review: The Little Book of Bad Intensions by Allison Basile is a light-hearted description and a free flow of thoughts about a story of dark humor! The reviewer's positive opinion about the book is worth sharing with all readers- 'The interesting plot, with the unexpected twist at the end, and the witty and descriptive prose kept me thoroughly engaged in the book.' The review has a good ending!

I absolutely love the premise of this story. Garrison is at his wits end mentally. He is losing his mind to Alzheimer's disease and hopes he has enough mental capacity left to murder his vicious and souless wife, Tessie, in time before he loses his mind completely.

The plot isn't my thing as well as divorce. Garrison's plan of murdering his wife isn't pleasing to me at all. Favorably, the book is full of thrilling scenes by just having less than 20 chapters.

I’ve heard that money is among the top motives in murder cases, but murdering a spiteful wife to avoid paying alimony still sounds pretty extreme. A crime thriller filled with dark humor seems interesting, but I’m not sure if this is for me. Thanks for the review.

Tessie is the type of woman that I despise for simply enjoying having an affair with another man while she's married and having children of her own; instead of being all apologetic and think about the custody of her children, she squeezes money out of her husband when divorce is the option. Despite the good writing with dark humour, story line like this enraged me. It's hard to see myself reading this for enjoyment.

This is actually a very interesting storyline that I don't think I've seen before in many books. I'm really curious to see how the author pulled it off. I like the added touch of dark humour in this book, something to make me smirk or think about later on. You always see the same type of crime in crime books. A perfect, loving woman is killed by a scorned lover or something along those lines. This book is certainly unique and I can't wait to read it. Thanks for an amazing review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/thriller novel following Tessie, a woman who marries men for their money and then takes everything from them, and Garrison, the man she marries, who wants to give (leave) everything to his two estranged daughters after he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease but is worried about Tessie not only stopping his plans, but also tying up his estate for years. So he is left with only one option and limited time to do it...he has to murder Tessie. It definitely looks to be worth a second glance. Well done.

A book with dark humor and exploring the committing of murder while mentally cognizant before losing this ability completely sounds interesting. I'm not interested in reading it now, but maybe on a rainy day. Great review!

Tessie's seems like a very dislikeable character. But the story seems incredibly interesting and reading your official review made me really want to read the book. Great review!

The book sounds intriguing with a gripping plot. Both Tessie and Garrison seems to have odd characteristics. Congratulations on BOTD.
