This was a great review that not only showcases the adventurous story, but other aspects like romance and mystery. I usually never choose these kinds of books, but this expedition to find his uncle is totally up my alley. This review summarized this book so well and revealed some exciting conflicts and plot lines that I can expect. Thank you for the awesome review!

I've never experienced such a thing, so going on an expedition from the safety of my home sounds great! Also, the elements in this book make it a great choice for anyone.

Great review! This novel seems quite immersive in that you can see yourself in Russia in the expedition. I agree with you that I would have found the sexual content unnecessary.

Adventure genre is not my favourite genre. Hence, I will skip this for the moment. Nevertherless, This is a wonderful review! :tiphat:

Mystery and suspense combined with adventure in a fantasy book sound intriguing. The Russian angle could also add to the suspense. Not my kind of book, but well done to the author. By the way, it is a great review.

Sounds like a wild adventure, to be sure. I think however due to the violence described and the numerous sexual encounters the protagonist has, I'll have to give this book a pass. Just not my cup of tea. Congrats on a great review!

The book seems pulsating. I've always liked adventurous quests and exploration of different landmarks. This novel should be a good read for me. Thanks for the review.

The book sounds really exciting! Good observation about how the author included Russian food and phrases naturally into the book – I didn't really notice it when I was reading the excerpt but upon looking back it seems really obvious. Appreciate the warning about the drinking and sleeping around. Thanks for the great review!

What a grand adventure story! Add to the adventure some mystery and romance, and you have an intriguing book that I look forward to reading. Too bad about the gratuitous sex and excess drinking, which I will have to ignore to get into the content that I DO enjoy. It was a wonderful review!

This sounds like an interesting adventure book. Grant goes looking for his uncle along with a team of expedition specialists. They encounter a lot of trouble along the way, and create a fair share of their own.

The intrigues, mysteries, adventure, and the expedition give me the feeling this book is well written and readers might want more: like another series or something. It did pique my wonder that only a man survived previous expedition. It seems like It is going to be a touching journey of fate. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like quite an expedition, one which I might be willing to take as well. Based on what you mentioned about the sex and drinking, I'm not sure if it's a book I would be willing to read, but I'll give it a try. Thanks for the review.
