This book seems like a great one with many elements at play. I also appreciate the descriptive writing style the author has adopted. I like your review but would have loved to know if any vulgar language was present.

Grant has an interesting adventure in front of him. I am curious about his uncle's destiny. What kinds of animals did they run into out in the Zona? Great review!

This books seems to be a very intriguing story about adventure and treasure. An exploration lead to the death of his uncle, and as his heir, the professor finds himself with a new house with journals and secrets.

Thanks for the great review! This is not the type of book I would normally read, but since it is also BOTM I will be reading it! The part about the expedition sounds intriguing, and I also am curious to see if Grant finds his uncle! Thank you for the heads up on the sexual content!

A nice fictional adventure story with essence of danger, suspense, romance, and mystery is nicely presented in the book "Zona: The Forbidden Land" by Fred G. Baker. The story revolves around Grant Taylor, a university professor, who is on a pursuit to find his missing uncle who had gone to expedition into an unknown and forbidden zone near Siberia. The story appears quite gripping.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

"Zona: The Forbidden Land" by Fred G. Baker - The story is exciting from the get-go. Grant is an interesting character who I want to know more about, and what's with those giant animals. Thanks for the enjoyable review.

It sounds like a well-written mystery. One of my paternal great-grandfathers was Lithuanian and he was a Lieutenant in the Czar's army before the coup. I've always been fascinated by the history of Russia and the USSR. :tiphat:

This book is definitely and opportunity to learn more about Russian culture. Your review was really well written, you really made me want to read this book! I love adventure stories, so this sounds great! It reminds me of the book "Journey To The Center Of The Earth".
