"Anything a man can do, a woman can do better."

Sandra Eden's War, written by Michael Low, is a fictional story based on Europe's fight to overcome the oppression of Nazism. The story's main character, Sandra Eden, is sent into France to help the French Resistance disrupt the movements of German troops. Sandra, a British Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent, is faced with several obstacles that threaten her life as she fights to free Europe.

Throughout the story, the immense bravery of Sandra is highlighted and praised. Moreover, because she is a woman, she has to work twice as hard as everyone else in order to prove herself. The book is an inspiring story of a woman who transforms herself into a top agent in spite of the odds against her.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed Sandra Eden's War, as it had all the makings of a great book: build-up, suspense, and a clear goal. There was also an aura of believability about the author's writing; something about the way he creates his scenes immerses me fully into the story and makes me forget about my immediate surroundings. Indeed, I was completely engrossed in the dialog between the characters.

Furthermore, I liked how the author injected humor into the book, as it made for enjoyable reading. The one thing I liked most about Sandra Eden's War was its unpredictability. Some scenes startled and forced me to pay attention, which I enjoyed very much. I could hardly predict what was going to happen or who was going to die next, and that kept me turning the pages to find out.

The only thing I did not like about the book was some details which I found a bit boring, especially the scenes where the characters were planning a major attack. To be honest, I just wanted them to get to action, as I enjoyed that part very much.

Nonetheless, I could not bring myself to take a star from the rating because of one minor issue, and so I gladly rate Sandra Eden's War 4 out of 4 stars. I had a great time reading the book and found no errors in it, which made me believe that it was exceptionally edited. Nevertheless, I found a couple of vulgar words that were borderline.

I would recommend Sandra Eden's War to lovers of historical fiction and suspense. However, I would not recommend it to persons under the age of 18, as I found some gruesome and graphic scenes that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I also really enjoyed the comedic relief. It was hilarious how she legitimately made one of the men pay for his sexist comments. I think a lot of readers will enjoy this quick but engaging read.
