I just love it when enemies join forces towards a common end, be it just for survival. I'd love to give this book a try. Thanks for the informative review.

I was already pretty hooked by 'Riptide' and 'Blackout' and, by the time I got to the bit mentioning the humorous banter, there was no going back for me  Cannot wait!

Thank you for such a thorough and inviting review! I'll overlook the lack of editing :)

Kelyn wrote: 01 Jul 2020, 22:47 I like that the romance is more 'background sizzle' that it is out in the open. That seems to fit the book much better than having an all-out romance. I think the idea of having them learn to cooperate is both interesting and humorous! Thanks for the review!
The romance being in the background definitely fits the characters and plot better.

This book sounds fantastic. I like that the author was able to switch the characters and flip the direction of the story. That's creativity. Your review is on point.

Such funny names the author has given to the main characters! Riptide and Blackout - I just couldn't believe my eyes! This story really sounds rather interesting. I don't care all that much about superheroes, but I am nevertheless itching to read the story! Thanks for a great review!
