The author has really inspired me by the verses he's used. One of my favourite Bible verse that has always been my comforter, lifted me up when I'm down is Jeremiah 29:11. It tells us that God has a plan for us, no matter our current situation, how difficult it may be. He promises to walk with us and make our situation better. So if you feel discouraged look for this verse.

I found one verse particularly helpful:

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. (Philippians 3:12–13)"

I think that this quote tries to convey that it is important to move on. It serves as a reminder.
