Your review shows that the book was successful in capturing the imagination and feel of thrill and adventure through the lives of the protagonists and the various characters. Sounds like it would be interesting adventure novel to read. Thank you for the review.

I thought this book would be more fantasy from the title, but I loved the scientific feel to it. Great review!

The book seems really interesting, especially the part of the wolves and Grant's special ability with them. I'm definitely going to read it. Thanks for the great review.

I enjoyed this review. It had all the warnings and a perfect description of what to expect without giving away too much of the story.

I don't usually read books like Zona, I much prefer hyper-realistic novels, but I thought... hey, it's the book of the month. Why not? And I'm tempted, I have to admit. Thank you for your informative and detailed review!

I like the fact that Grant goes on to search for his uncle despite having known of the dangers of the expedition. What fascinated me most is how the expedition team refuted to work together; setting up a camp, and how they (survivors) started thriving on the land.

Zona: The Forbidden Land
The plot of the story is about family,. How a person's love for his family can drove him to do such risky adventure just to find him.. I love the idea that Grant is determined to finish the journey even without guarantee that his uncle is still alive... The experiences of the characters are well elaborated to the extent that you want to tie Irina somewhere else away from Grant.. the way the author described the animals makes me visualize as if I believe that such animal exist in real life.
All in all.. kudos to the author Fred G.Baker such an interesting book
Highly recommended to entertain someone specially this time of pandemic

I like the different genres infused in the book but I don't like sexual contents; so I will pass on this one. Great review though.

It is a superb review. It is not uncommon to find people who are promiscuous like Grant. It's a put off.

Did the author use native language from Alaskan people or Russian tribes?
