For me, reading provides escape, growth, and adventure. I spend a lot of my time alone, so being able to dive into a book and come out of it as a new person with new information, it a great way to spend my time. I have definitely changed over the course of reading a few notable books, and I think that the act of reading widens your mind to accept new things.

Reading helps me escape reality. I also learn more about other places I haven't been to through books.

The advantage of reading is that you get to learn new things and new words.

It also helps you learn more than English. It lets you learn about a vast array of topics and also prevents boredom.

Reading is a means to escape to another world, even if its only for a short while. The knowledge I obtain becomes useful at unexpected times.

I love reading for that reason. There is always something to learn within the pages of a book. It can range from perfecting a foreign language to just learning a new word. It doesn't matter. There is always something.

I write very well in English class because I have read, read, read all my life. I can read much faster than most kids, too which gives me a big advantage.

I love reading because it almost forces you to see the world through the eyes of someone else. Someone you may not like or agree with at times and I think that makes for more empathetic and compassionate people. I think it's an amazing tool to connect to the world around you without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home.

Reading for me is a source of solace and comfort. It acts as a portal of escape from my hectic schedules. Also books have helped me overcome my mobile phone addiction. I spent more time reading and less time overthinking. Books are hence the best things in my life.

- Reading enriches your vocabulary.
- It also provides you with lenses to view things from other people's perspectives.
- It helps you learn about cultures, things, events, or places that are otherwise inaccessible to you or not immediately accessible.
- It strengthens your grammar.
- Additionally, it allows you to live in the past/future and present simultaneously.
