Great review! I agree with the author’s views on beauty and needing to connect with nature. I think those are important right now. The connection to Hindu deities is also interesting.

A lot of what the author speaks on is common sense and basic knowledge of nature. Hard pass for me unfortunately.

I agree to the theme of review that alot of good things like responsibility, logic over emotions, teachers etc being described yet the book lacks a factor of interest/spell binding and thus it seems monotonous. Many have these ideas through books but putting them as such makes book only suitable to elderly. May be some witty youngsters may like it but chances are rare. Still for encouragmnt i must say that keep writing and improving. Congrates on BOTD

The beauty of books is, for one person something can be boring, and for the next, it's a goldmine. What a great review.

From your summary of the book, I can see why this would be a chore to get through as the advice the author provides appears to be little more than conventional wisdom. Thanks for an honest review.

Thanks for the summary. Though the reviewer said it lacked originality, creativity and imagination- the most important thing was the message the author wanted the readers to get which actually got to them. Another thing l like about this book is the fact that the author was persuasive and argumentative. He also explained that beauty is subjective and that nothing God created is ugly. Thanks for this wonderful book, there are lots of things to learn from it and encourage people. Thanks for the review.

You are saying that "Adult readers who are more mature and have more life experience will likely prefer this book," and that takes me to a similar statement that I know is true: you will best learn what you already know". :)
As a teacher, I related to what the author said in the beginning about learning and who teaches you.
However, it is disappointing that a book that is meant to guide people is poorly edited. Not a good marketing strategy.

Thank you so much; your review was excellent (and very hepful!!).

Today's BOTD is an informative read that includes various opinions and thoughts from the author about life virtues, such as responsibility and patience. Also discussed is the teachers in our lives who have helped us become who we are today, from family and friends to the big outdoors. Its easy to read text makes this one a good fit for teens on up. Thank you!

Indeed the title captures primarily what the book covers. This will be an interesting read.

I love the authors perception that beauty is subjective and nothing created by God is ugly, he further acknowledges our first teachers as our parents followed by friends. Wisdom is a perfect title for this book, It seems quite informative. I believe with proper editing it will be great read. Thanks for the detailed review.

This seems to be an informative non-fiction book. I agree, parents and friends are our teachers. I like that the author emphasizes the importance of basing our decisions on logic rather than emotions. I'll be honored to read the book. I'm adding this to my want to read shelf. Congratulations.

I read the sample and totally get your point about the editing. Too bad about it. Love the cover though it is very clever and impactful. Great review.

This review has been most informative. it has outlined the attractive points as well as the boring parts. In as much as the book was engaging, reading through a cliche book is totally boring. For this I really congratulate you for going through it. The book and the motivations after reading through the sample felt okay but after knowing that the book has alot of errors and also the Hindu religion incorporated, it will not be part of my shelf. Thanks for a helpful review. I would not discredit anyone that likes motivational books from reading this though.
