I like to read war stories. I wonder how a veteran involves in the war on drugs. The plot seems interesting. I guess, to fight against war looks easy as long as you have ammunition and skills, but fighting against your inner demons needs proper decision.

From the start I have just been so tensed, what's going to happen and it's just a review. Flawless review, perfect execution.

A well-written and thought-provoking review. Declan sounds like a deeply layered and complex character who, not unlike many of our veterans, struggles to re-engage with his former life while bearing the unseen scars of war.

The post traumatic stress disorders predominant in war veterans seem to be an important theme of this book. I am inclined to see how Declan's story plays out. Thanks for the analytical review!
