The book sounds totally emotional, the kind where the description leaves you crying and snorting. For now this is not a favourite book. Thanks the reviewer for doing the book Justice in discussing it.

I had the pleasure of reading the first chapter of this book, sampling it for today’s Book of The Day. I found myself holding my breath at moments, as Samuel faced his demons. While in full agreement with yourself and others that it seems the subject matter may be emotionally triggering, I am intrigued to the point that I will be adding the book to my “To Read” list. Thank you for sharing an engaging review with us and to the author for sharing his work.

This sounds to be a very interesting story. When one's emotions are pushed to their very limit especially by depression, the end result produces a villain. In this case, we see a postal officer going on a mission that changes his financial situation forever. How he does it, is the more reason I would have to read the book.

Samuel's coping mechanism is to get busy his mind through daydreaming. His thoughts were comforting him after divorce. The plot is very interesting, but some of the contents aren't for me.

Thanks for the review. While it sounds like this book is a emotionally heavier read, it also sounds like it is worth it. As your one criticism was linked to the editing and the moderator says this is fixed- I look forward to reading it.

In life we go through struggles and at times we don't know the amount of pressure and effects it will have on our mental health. From the excerpts I have read, the author has shown mastery in writing. It's a book that you start reading and don't want to stop until the end because you want to know how the Samuel character faired to the end.

This book sounds very heavy and emotional. I am a big crier and depression has always been a touchy subject for me so I may cry while reading this. I don't know if I will be adding this book to my list, but it says like a beautiful novel. Thank you for sharing this wonderful review.

Good review. I hope this book does well it looks really good to me. I think it is one of those books where the author puts his soul in print. May he be rewarded for having such courage. Can’t wait to read the whole book
