Haha! What a title! I like how the author addressed one of the things that bring fear to children in a friendly manner. Atleast, they would understand what exactly causes these thunder and lightening at their level. Also, introducing children to science at this early stage is not such a bad idea. I'm definitely getting this book!

To start off with, at first reading the review I was thinking it was gunna be like all the other kid book but came to realization it’s not it’s actually interesting I know as a kid I always question we’re did thunder and lightning come from so to give a kid that clarification at a young age is great (:

I strongly believe that we should give kids honest, age-appropriate explanations when they ask questions. Our kids know only a little bit about thunder and lightning since my own knowledge is limited. A book like this will certainly help to explain the happenings during a storm in simple scientific terms.

It sounds like the author did a good job of explaining science at a level that children can quickly comprehend. Great review.

I love thunder storms. . .now. I wish this book was around when I was little. What a great way to teach kids science.

This is a nice review and a pleasant book that does a good job explaining thunder and lightning to small children. I will be using it to read to a special needs child that I know who is horribly afraid of storms. Thanks to the author for tackling this subject and congratulations on receiving BOTD!
