This book addressed critical issues by suggesting choices. The teenagers would be pawns. But then, it is one thing to believe and it is another thing to encourage. It depends on choice, motives, and attitude formation. It is a good read. Being a historical thriller, it will drive home the gospel of tolerance and coexistence. Great review!

This book is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys historical fiction, espionage stories, political stories, or anyone who wants to learn more about some of the issues in the Middle East in a more fun and relaxing way than reading news articles or textbooks.

This is me! The issues in the Middle East are so complex that I usually shy away from learning more about them, but this book seems like a great way to do it.

A nice historical fiction novel "Operation Olive Tree" by Jemil Metti, which features an unique school in Israel, and follows an Israeli teenager, Irith Goldman, and a Palestinian teenager,Jamal Shaheen.  The story appears quite interesting to read.
