This is exactly the type of book I was looking for. The relationship between the two main characters reminds me of two acquaintances of mine, one was Muslim and the other one was Jewish, they were both from the Middle East and at first they hated each other (they couldn't even stand looking at each other) simply because of their religion but once they actually got to know each other, they became friends. Ever since I met them I've been wanting to know more about where they came from and the relationship between Israelites and Palestinians. This will be a great book for me.

This book seems to be a great historical fiction. I like how the author approaches the theme of music to unite people. I'm curious to see how the author wrote about the conflict between Israel and Palestine in that relaxed way you wrote about in your review. Thanks for the insightful review! Great job.

I would like to read about Jamal and Irith's relationship and how realistic it was. This also sounds like a book with well-developed characters. Thanks for this review.

This book is a novel. The book presents an ancient story of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The author has used two student characters as part of resolving this conflict. Teachers and students use the musical approach in bringing about reconciliation. the book is good I love it.

Thank you for the review. I tend not to enjoy in depth historical reads so may not add this one to my list, but it does sound like it could be intriguing for the right reader.

I believe that music is an excellent way to bring about peace. Music awakens feelings all humans share. I love the premise of this book but will have to pass due to some of the mentioned sensitive issues.

I am not a fan of historical fiction, but this book seems infirmative. With a small number of characters, the author managed to touch a theme of conflicts in past. I love the cover, too!

I was a bit disappointed to see that you said this is historical fiction. I was wondering if it were based on true events. Thanks for an interesting review!

Historical fiction and books about politics are not my cup of tea. But the book seems pretty action-packed so I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
