The Darkness at Decker Lake is a book about the uneasiness the residents of Decker Lake, is feeling in their neighborhood, an impending doom over shadows them on their walks. A sense of sinister lurking in their in their once peaceful town had them trembling in their beds at night. No one stays out side after dusk, and nobody speaks of the lingering presence, for they fear that that will make matters worse.

One of the townspeople, George, has taken notice of the strange happenings that began several years ago - the despair felt by all the occupants and the townspeople who suddenly decided to leave Decker Lake for a retirement home in Florida and were never heard from again. His unease had intensified since the disappearance of Evelyn Jones and the lack of communications from his friend, Mary. He begains trying to unravel the mystery of what is happening to the town.

I love mystery and suspense, what or who is responsible for the disappearance of Decker Lake residents? l definitely would like to know what transpired. However, the horror part makes me think twice. Great review.

I am glad that the writer make it possible for the reader to be a part of the narrative. Not many authors are able to provide this kind of quality to a book. I commend Martin H. Zuckerman for this.
