This story just sounds fascinating. I love a good mystery and it seems interesting to know something the characters don't know. I don't know if I'd be able to get past the grammar issues, but the premise of the book sounds great. Thanks for an honest review!

For fans who enjoy reading books in the horror genre, this one sounds like it is worth checking out. I'm not in this category. Great review!

Intriguing for sure. Starts like pretty dark and full of nightmarish horror. Later I thought mostly of thrilling suspense story with quite a bit of mystery added to the mix. In short, I liked review, loved the sample, can't wait for getting my hands on the real deal.

The book sounds intriguing. An isolated lake community of retired senior citizens who are disappearing one by one only during the evening walks. I must say the author has picked the perfect scenery for suspense and mystery.
Great review.

Despite the reading flow issues, this sounds like an absolute must to my taste! Reading your summary I felt as if I were watching the good old Twin Peaks.

Thank you for such a thorough, well-rounded, and alluring review and analysis! :)

All I can say is that your review is genuine. But the mature content repels me. Nice review.

The book literally gave me goosebumps. There is an eerie build up, yet you just need to know what happens. My first thoughts about Decker Lake was "nice small town setting" but as the characters emerge and the forest comes to light you soon realise this is not your ordinary scenic peaceful small town.
You can't help but wonder about the disappearances - are they all linked? Whats the underlying secrets of the forest?

As if Decker Lake weren't enough of a build up, oh my what about the mysterious disappearance of the messenger? How was the butcher so smart and cunning to pull that off?

This book definitely paints a picture with the words and gives the goosebumps as you read. I would highly recommend reading if you are a fan of thrillers.

Your review has me pondering what George will find, and what evil exactly has come to Decker Lake. I may consider reading this book.

Thanks for the lovely review.

I read the sample text on Amazon and I can see it will be a complicated, horrific adventure! I like the character development in the story.
I am anxious to see Ivan the Butcher's next move. This is a very good review!
