This book is right up my alley what with the themes of mystery, thrill and twisted towns. Reminds me a bit of the town of Derry from It. Thank you for the review!

The Darkness at Decker Lake by Martin H. Zuckerman seems suspicious. I like this kind of supernatural stories. Congratulations on #BOTD.

Sounds like an intense mystery that involves the like of something akin to the supernatural. Knowing whats coming for them as the reader must make the story particularly thrilling, though the glaring errors would certainly distract me from the story. I will wait until these issues have been fixed before I consider reading it. Thank you for the wonderfully written review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Sounds like an intriguing mystery read. Nothing is worse than the fear of the unknown and maybe sometimes we can all relate to that. I would really love to read the book as it sounds very interesting. Great review.

This seems like an interesting read. Disclosing the malicious presence hunting the town to the readers thrilled me. Although I feel the suspense might no longer be there. Congrats on Botd

This sounds like a really good mystery thriller that one could immerse oneself in. I'm particularly attracted by the idea of feeling like one of the characters. The sample alone sent shivers down my spine. I'm looking forward to reading this. I won't get to it for a while though, by which time I'm hoping the errors will have been corrected.

This book seems to be very thrilling and a real page-turner. I like how the author used situational irony well to create suspense and write a gripping read.

This book would be a nice read for me. What might have happened to Evelyn Jones, George's friend. I'm afraid to read he disappeared into the darkest lake. I'll consider reading this book soon.

A thrillng horor story with some adult scene, this is actually not in my genre of books, I would therefore pass on this. Good character development by the author anyway, congrats on BOTD.

I am intrigued by the spooky combination of unease, trepidation, and impending doom, so I can't wait to explore this one further, to find out if the fears of the Decker Lake residents are as warranted as I assume! Lovely review, thanks for sharing your thoughts. :ghost:
