Review by Echez_ -- Dynomike: Pay It Forward
Dynomike books are always exceptional when it comes to children’s book. As usual, Dynomike: Pay it Forward by Frankie B. Rabbit is another new book from their series. Basically, it reveals that the world will be a better place when we learn to help others without expecting anything in return.
Here, Dynomike who is the main character in the book went to a store looking for his favorite snack: strawberry pickles. But unfortunately, the store had already run out of the item. Out of disappointment, he left the store only to see his friend Spunky struggling to push up his cart full of bananas up a hill. Surprisingly, Dynomike despite the disappointment of not getting his strawberry pickle decided to help. When they were done, Spunky wanted to repay him back but Dynomike hesitated and rather asked him to only pay it forward hence the title of the book Dynomike: Pay it Forward. This action however sets off some kind of chain reaction along the way.
Honestly, after reading this book, I had to think about it for a while. Obviously, the message is not only for children rather it’s a lesson for everybody in general. We are in a world where people seems to only lend help to people they know or where there is some sort of profit in for them. I was really glad seeing this message packaged in a children’s book. Obviously, our little ones need to be groomed on the foundation of help others without expecting anything in return. Hopefully, this would help to create a better future generation.
Apart from the message, there are other things I loved about the book. Firstly, the pictures and the color quality were really amazing. There were good color variety making the whole book interesting to look at. I also loved how the author crafted the content into poem or children rhymes. Repeating the important message in a way that kids would understand the emphasis. Easy to read and simple sentences for kids.
Generally, I did not find any error in the course of reading this book. The contents were well written and professionally edited. I would recommend this book to every parents for their kids. Therefore, I give this book a 4 out of 4 stars, it’s really worth it!
