Wow, amazing review of this novel. It's definitely had me intrigued. I would love to read this book, and I think it's especially important, seeing as this could very well be our future based on how climate change is currently being dealt with...

A post-apocalyptic novel with a protagonist who is in her sixties (though aging slowly) seems different. It makes you want to read Ella's story.

Thank you for the great review.

I think that this book might actually be prophetic. "(...) humanity established colonies in the more livable areas of the world (...)": we are not too far off from doing this.
Thank you for the insightful review.

I really don't like book that predicts the unseen future, I stopped at the first line because, I believe one step at a time is the perfect Key for peace of mind . Why reading about 2039 when we are still in 2020. Congrats on BOTD.

Thanks for the review, but I rarely read dystopian novels, and this book will not be the exception, even if it is atypical and uses age as a plot point.

I’m so glad this book was chosen as BOTD and that your review was shared, I would likely have missed this book otherwise. This seems to be right up my alley, I enjoyed the sample that I read and your review further peaked my interest.

The year 2039 is not too far in the distant future so I’m interested to “see” this authors futuristic world.

Great job on your review!

This appears to be an interesting read. At this point, I'm not particularly interested in books of this kind – "post-apocalyptic" but I'm interested in the character of Ella. Kudos to the author for an exceptional post-apocalyptic book and Congrats on BOTD!

Wonderfully done! I'm sure not a few people will be surprised when the climate crisis dies a natural death. I like the imagination though, it brought a few ideas to mind.

Books on climate change interest me. Depicting it in a story is a grand move. I'll look out for this one.

Nice job on this review. I'm not much of a fan of the typical post-apocalyptic novel, but the notions of this different sort of dystopia have really unsettled me. It's not likely that I'll be adding this book to my shelves.

I think this book looks into the future of climate change if we do nothing to reverse it. I'll like to read this book. Thanks for the review.

Especially with the way things are in the world right now, it's hard to not imagine an apocalyptic future like this one. However, the group of Elders and Ella's story doesn't particularly grip me, but I'll give it a chance in case I actually end up liking it.

With climate change, humans encounter natural calamities more often. That was a great review.

I really apprecciate this review because it made me find a new book which really appealed me a lot. I think the topics of this can resonate a lot given the current situation of the world and I am very intrigued as for the perspective of them from an elder age and from the angle of no heroes, but normal people. Thanks a lot for the review, I might put this on my "to read" list.
