When I began reading the sample chapters, I was all in. The book seemed like it would be perfect for me, but as the chapters went on I began to get bored when it slowed too much for my interest. It seems that I have the right feeling based on your review. Thank you for the honest and well-written review.

The review sounds very interesting! The name and cover of the book seem intriguing specially how a nun becomes a mother and starts a family. I would like to read this book. Thanks for the review.

What i most liked about the review is Beth's strong personality and her courage in making difficult life decisions. It might not be so action packed, but it might be worth picking up just to savor Beth's character.

This sounds like an adventurous story, even if it is not "action-packed." What makes it more interesting is that it's based on true events. I'd like to read this one. You wrote a great review, thanks!

I read the first 10 of this novel and I can honestly say it gave me chills. I was instantly captivated, and I wanted to know what fate lay in store for little Beth and how she would overcome all the hardships yet to come. Thank you so much for your well-written and insightful review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

An interesting book. It would be very inspiring to read about a young girl who fights against the odds. This doesn't seem like the ordinary historical fiction. Great review!

I admire the fact that Beth found the strength to lead a better life after her brothers pushed her away and her aunt mistreated her.

This book caught my attention beacause it have lessons in it.1 not to cheat like beth's mother did.2 not to give a judgement like what beth's father did. Lastly tell the truth, don't lie nomatter how hard to tell the truth.

The story is quite interesting indeed good job author.

I find the plot of this book intriguing. The summary given by this reviewer makes me want to read it. I wonder how Beth and Father René were able to overcome the temptation to break their vows.

An interesting plot to read and enjoy. I look forward to the twists and turns, and for the errors, I hope the author takes the advice of a second round of editing.
