The author is not shy about sensitive topics with a book that's thought-provoking starting with its title. Thank you for your great review!

This is such an interesting concept. I love this it connects prose and poetry. I read the first poem and it evokes so much power. As someone who grew up Christian, I've seen so many people use religion as a reason for their hatred while also preaching that they love everyone. It looks like this is an interesting look at the moral superiority that Christian people have and whether there is room for sexuality within that.

The debate of homosexuality is one I don't see any reason to get involved, but I respect the author's work anyways.

The book seems to have a hard topic of homosexuality. It is mentioned in the review that the author has done research and written few poems at the end of the book, that are appealing.
I must say the book will prove to be a good read.

'I realised that poets often write in a code. A special code that only they and other poets or those trained to decipher the code can understand'. There is no special code to know that God's creation was wonderfully made in His image.

the author in the introduction emphasized only Christians, but not Jewish people execute or persecute homosexual people. All monotheistic religions have complicated but somewhat the same opinion on that subject. Yes, I can agree that people will hide behind their beliefs. But to claim only Christians do that, it is not true.
I agree with you. The animosity towards homosexual people are not limited to that of the Christian belief.
While am not into religion-specific books, I also despise reading books that are suggesting hatred towards a certain religion to glorify another one. Thank you for your honest review!

This sounds like an important book to read. The author makes connections between Bible verses and deep-seated feelings of hate and violence towards homosexuality. I despise that this type of hate is still present in 2020.
Thanks for the detailed review.

I fall in the category of those who do not care about the topics approached in this book.
I appreciate your impartiality as a reviewer, who found good points and also flaws that cannot be denied as the claim that only Christians did whatever the author said they did.
Thank you for the illuminating review.

"And Man Made God in his Image." This is quite a title.
The issue of homosexuality is a hard topic, but with the ever evolving world, the views of humans keep changing and more persons are accepting the ideology.

The title of the book caught my attention. Like the reviewer rightly stated, it sums up the whole gist of the book. I've never learned that; somehow we unturned the table and made God in our image instead of accepting his standard of creation. Somehow, we have blamed the consequences of our actions on God. Great review! I'm hungry to try out this.

This book written in verse sounds like a nice book. Lovers of this genre will like to read the author's description of his concern for violence against gays in his 25 poems. However, I'm not a fan of this genre and neither do I have interest in the LGBTQ things. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

Great review. It made me think about reading more of the poems to get the whole idea of what it is going on in the author's mind.
