I think that I'm going to pass on this book. The first reason why I say this is because I'm not an avid reader or lover of poetry books. The second reason is the content of the book itself. The book/author sounds biased. It sounds like they are projecting their own thoughts and beliefs and looking for others who will agree with them. To try and say that Christians are the main problem when it comes to certain things is a stretch, so I'm going to have to say no to this book.

I am definitely not interested in reading this book! Firstly, the title in itself discouraged me! Then, I am not among the recommended readers! As a Christian, I hate crimes and discrimination of any kind but the author was way too bias when addressing this issues!

As a Christian, I agree with your view that violence against homosexuality isn't exclusive to biblical references. I will give this book a miss but many thanks for your informative review

I appreciate your review on this book. I try to steer clear of religious and controversial reads so will likely pass on this book of poems.

It certainly isn't my type of read. However, the themes are very controversial and I'm sure it is a wonderful book for its intended audience. Great review!

The issue tackled in this book is very important! However, I'm not a fan of poems so I think I'll pass on this one. Thank you for the insightful review!

A verse format book that criticizes biblical scripture. The author describes his concern about violence against homosexuals in 25 poems. I also disagree with the author's claim that hate crimes and violence come from the Bible. It seems like a well-crafted work as it has research and good editing.

Thanks for the review. As someone who has experienced so much hate from people in my life for being LGBT+, I will have to skip this one. In general, I do not read poetry anyways. Nonetheless, the book does sound interesting.

I doubt if anyone can objectively discuss homosexuality without leaning to his religious inclination. I personally avoid topics on homosexuality and religion. Good review!

I agree that everyone has the freedom to choose whom to love. But I will not go so far as to find the root for hate in the Bible. Or to pinpoint Christians as gay haters.

The title is quite clever. I think I agree with the reviewer that violence is somewhat more of a human problem than tied to a specific religion. Still, it was an interesting way for the author to approach the issue.

Being influenced and a victim by an ultra conservative Lutheran denomination during my childhood and adolescence, I can relate and agree with the author's statements in the introduction of his book. It is why I am leary of and even distrustful of any organized religious groups. Great review!
