Great review! The book's title is very captivating and it's cover is quite interesting as well. I like the overall message and the research the author put.

Excellent job with the review. I agree with your positions on this issue. Several religions persecute homosexuality, as opposed to Christianity alone. Homosexuality is a difficult topic to address, far more to do it in verse. The use of poetry here makes me interested in seeing how the author accomplished his goal.

This is quite a timely book, in which the author describes his concern for violence against gays in 25 poems. LGBTQ rights are a topic of concern that is gets controversial but is certainly coming up quite often. Thank you for a well-written review.

It seems like this book has attempted to address a very sensitive issue and was successful in portraying it beautifullly. Definitely going to read this one. Thanks for the wonderful review.🙂

I think that you rating for this book is correct, but I do understand the author's point of view. I think that Christianity is the most outspoken religion against homosexuality and the LGBTQ+ community. I do agree that all the Abrahamic faiths have branches that are more conservative than others in regard to social issues.

I was intrigued by the topic itself, homosexuality and the hate between regions has always been a controversial one and really needs to be looked at.

The plot about homosexuality is timely and relevant. I would have liked to dig into this novel and be enlightened; however, the topic about his take on the Bible verses hold me back since I am a Catholic.

The book title does describe the modern man. However, just like you said, I also quite disagree with the author's reasoning that hate stems from some parts of the Bible. Good review.

Your review is very balanced and accurate, while you have rationally justified your rating. The poems sound a little dull, so I will not read this book.

Thanks for this concise review of the theme and opinions expressed in this book. I certainly wouldn't be interested in any book that expresses questionable opinions of the Bible, so I'll pass on this one

The title of the book, " And God made man in his image" is alluring to me as well as perfect given that it covers the subject of homosexuality. However, the fact that the author uses poetry puts me off since I'm not an ardent reader of poems.

I love poetry and would give this book a try for the same reason. It's nice that the author describes the concern for violence against gay. Nice review!

I think one of the things that intrigue me the most about this book Is that it approaches this subject through poetry, so I might give it a try, despite this not being a usual reading for me. I am concerned on how the topic Is approached, but as you mentioned I think there Is a historical and careful edition of the book, so that also encourages me to give it a try. Thanks for the Review

I appreciate the thoroughness of your review and that you took the time to read through the book even though you disagreed with the author's opinions. However, I will pass on reading this book.
