Thanks for your kind words! :) I thought with such an extraordinary gift of imagination the author could’ve done better :D

I find your example very interesting - I actually really liked the replacement of phones with magic, haha! I agree that this book is fantastic. :D I see you're reading the second one now - enjoy! Looking forward to picking it up myself sometime, as well.
Happy reading! :techie-studyingbrown:

We are on the same page in rating this book four out of four stars. I agree that some parts of the novel is disturbing. I am fascinated by the art of bio magic, although it has not be explored deeply in this book. Great review!

So we people are different... one likes something and another one is bothered by the same thing 😁 But that is totally ok! But the book was fantastic and so far I am enjoying the second one. Thanks very much for taking the time to read and comment my review, very much appreciated! 😊

The book sounds interesting. Especially with the mention of the most powerful wizard of human history.
Nice review.

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

This was a really good review! I completely understand your apprehension at the beginning, and I agree that it can be tricky to find a fantasy novel with the right amount of detail. I'm so glad you found it enjoyable! I have to say I liked the magic elements, and it seemed realistic how the writer used magic in many different, everyday situations. I'm interested in how you will like the second book.

Your review certainly made the book sound intriguing. However, I prefer standalone novels. Great job, though!
