I think taking responsibility is part of the solution for anxiety, but not the complete solution. It is essential because the realization that we can only control our reactions and not what happens around us is paramount to eliminate or suppress anxiety. I think it's also important to get in touch with ourselves, our values, and our triggers.

I genuinely don't think that the author has to say that himself. But, I agree. We should take responsibility by being proactive with our anxiety so it will not get worse as time goes by.

I think the author is on point on the issue of taking full responsibility of one's life. I believe blame shifting and the feeling of helplessness amount to a lot of stress and instability of mind. One is quick on finding solutions and proactive knowing the good or bad of the outcome lies with them. Being the 'boss' of your own life rather than having a feeling of the subordinate. Being in charge is a lot better for mental stability.

I think it is not as easy as we all think. Yes! taking responsibility of one's life does help one lead a healthy life. it is beautiful to take charge, but not pretty to deal with the mistakes. Nobody is perfect, we should expect less but try our best, be ready to make mistakes and deal with the repercussions thereafter.

I completely agree with that statement. Taking full responsibility for your life can indeed alleviate stress and anxiety since there is a sense of control over situations. And since stress normally soars if we feel overwhelmed, taking full responsibility (and the resulting sense of control) can help one maintain healthy stress levels and overall psychological health.

It goes without saying that everybody should take responsibility for their lives and actions. It shows maturity and civility. Anxiety and stress can be alleviated by knowing that we can only control ourselves (reactions) and not others (actions); this helps us make a decision on how we choose to react in certain situations thereby avoiding stress. It also has a lot to do with being emotionally intelligent.

Part of being responsible for yourself is taking caution of what triggers your stress. If done habitually, you can prevent stress or anxiety from settling in.

I agree with many people here in this forum that taking responsibility is extremely important. However, I do think there needs to be a clear distinction between taking responsibility for your actions and decisions versus things you have no control over. The latter is something many anxious and depressed people are prone to which can result in a vicious cycle of guilt and self-loathing. I think it is important to emphasize that taking responsibility is important, but you can only be responsible for yourself and not the actions of others or the circumstances that befall you that you cannot control.

I believe that it's an equal balance between taking responsibility for your life and realizing where you have absolutely no control of the situation (or the other people in it.) We cannot control the circumstances, but we are responsible for our responses to the circumstances.

Accepting responsibility for our life is a very crucial aspect of growing up and will definitely result in anxiety relief. Anytime we take full responsibility for our action, we see the need to work more on ourselves, in order to tackle our weaknesses and learn from past mistakes. We this is practised more often, it always results to reduced anxiety.

It is very right to take clean responsibility of everything round u and related to u in anyway. Life isn't how easy u already think would get, but what strengths of eagerness u've got to earn-it right in the accurate way.
