Seems the author suffered the treatment of cancer. But the author's positive tone inspires us. Great review!

Seems to be a very inspiring read. The theme the book touches on is hard but still worth exploring. Thanks you for a great review! :)

Staying strong in the face of death is a task taken by few. I'm glad that Kai was a vigilant and strong woman. Thanks for an insightful review!

I loathe that saying. Plenty of people go through things that don't kill them, but don't make them stronger either. Debilitating PTSD and other horrible things happen to people all the time when something doesn't kill them and also doesn't make them stronger. I clicked on this review expecting to find another motivational book promoting the just world fallacy, and came across an inspirational cancer survivor memoir instead. Thank you for the thoughtful review, I am definitely interested in reading this one.

This was the most amazing part of Kai's attitude and mindset. She emphasized that you can let the diagnosis overwhelm you or you can learn about it and use that knowledge to strengthen you. It is an inspiring true story. Thanks so much for your comments!

Kai's determination to fight after the doctor told her about their findings is inspiring. It motivates a person never to give up even when it feels like it. It also encourages the application of wisdom with knowledge acquired in the quest of answers.

After reading the generic title of the book, I expected it to be lighthearted and shallow. Reading on, I was surprised. The author is undoubtedly an exceptional woman.

Exceptional is a good adjective to describe Kai. My jaw was dropping just reading about her first encounter with cancer. Discovering the rest of her story was nothing less than inspiring. Thanks for your thoughtful comments!

There was a lot of emotions with dealing with cancer. She has so much will power not to give up. Anything is possible, courage, strength. This does deserve a 4-stars :tiphat:
