Nice review! I loved the sample. I’m putting it on my next to read list. I enjoy paranormal books and suspense mysteries and this is right up my alley. Tess is such an intriguing character and can’t wait to see what she has in store for this cold case.

This is an interesting paranormal thriller! I really liked that the sheriff saw the potential in the intern, and seems to appreciate what she has to offer on the force. I wonder how a paranormal cold case will work with forensic science? Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

Even just reading the summary gives me goosebumps. I must say that the protagonist depicted a courageous woman. I'll definitely grab a copy for myself. Well done.

I'll definitely enjoy reading about a strong, audacious and zealous woman like Tess! Although new to her dangerous work, she did it diligently, patiently and effectively! Woman empowerment!

What a great way to start a book. I could not stop until I had read the sample and of course I want to read the entire book to find out how it ends. I am not distracted by editorial errors since I figure they will be cleaned up before the book goes to print.

After read your story, I think I will love it. Knowing the case is about the disappearance of fourteen people made me curious about this book. I can’t imagine if I have to face this case when I’m just an intern.

This sounds like a fast-paced gothic mystery novel. I like your accurate summary of the book. However, I will choose not to read this book. Thanks for the honest review, though!
