I think that this book might give me the knowledge of the history. This historical fiction seems to be great to read. Nice review.

This is a great story with several twists. However, the brutality in this book appears to be on a high which is enough to make me steer clear. Congrats on BOTD.

Thanks for the detailed and insightful review! However, I wouldn't like to read stories of war and violence right now. So I'm going to pass this one.

Well, a lot of injustice happens that make some of the honest, pure hearted ones question the profession they are doing and challenge their superiors too.
They then have to go rogue to keep them out of danger and associate with former enemies and other victims of similar circumstances. Not just security, many other professions have the same problems. This story is just one that depicts the scenario perfectly. Its a great review, congrats on being BOTD.
:D I believe in love

Great review. I can’t wait to read it. I can’t imagine being so brutal to one day have a sibling be brought in and to have to choose between the law and your family.

Sounds like an interesting book that enlightens us on a period of history I do not know much about. Your review gave a good overview. It sounds well written but perhaps too much violence, and cruelty make it a heavy read
Reading gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are

The plot is intriguing. The clever narrative strategy of the author makes the book engaging. The character of Jamsheed seems promising. Looking forward to reading it. Congrats on BOTD!

A politically charged thriller with an interesting choice of narrative voice. It gives the readers a glimpse of the turmol and unrest in the Middle East in the past. Thanks for the thorough review

The plot seems interesting by how the review described it. I am fond of brutal and horrific scenes and I think I would enjoy reading this one. Thank you for the detailed and great review.

As a Venezuelan i can feel relate to the human right situation describes in "The Pahlavi Sword". The use of a brutal and endless violence against another people just because they dare to disagree with you political believes; it is a enigma that i had to observed. This scenery repeats again and again, different places but the same blood and tears spilled. If this novel can help understand the nightmare of living a similar situation, it will be a huge step towards finally end this Sisyphus punishment. Bravo for Jemil Metti and thank for this honest review.

Too much content writing in this review officially written by Jemi metti. It becomes so bore.

The Pahlavi sword is a book that talks about a system of government rule, politics and management.

I have always heard of the Shah rulers in Persia before the advent of Islamic rulers so maybe this is a book I could learn a lot about this issue. Nice review.

I kind of agree with your words as these historical prisons usually tend to be very crual

This book sounds a little graphic for me in terms of violence. However, I have to congratulate you on a very thorough and well- written review.
1 Cor 15: 19-20, 26 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead...The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Although I avoid books that feature terrorism and torture, I can see how readers interested in Iranian history may appreciate some of this book. It's a plus that it's professionally edited. Thanks for an in-depth review.
