I find it an art in itself, reading plays. It's very different from reading a novel. Too bad about the numerous errors.

This seems a unique book with dramas about themes that are more important than ever in a world that's hyperconnected yet tends to ignore tragic events that happen in certain areas. Thank you for your great review!

Looking at the cover page of this book ruins came to mind. I will love to finish reading this book to find out the extent of conflict, exploitation and destruction in the Middle East.

Though I am not into drama books, I would love to give this book a try after it is re-edited. Thank you for this very insightful review and recommendation.

I'm glad the author chose to include short plays. That makes it easy to take in all of them.

I've never read a play before. Even though it sounds interesting, I don't think I'll read this one. Thanks for the great review!

The best way to read plays is out loud, to hear the words, to experience the emotions. Thanks for a nice review. This isn't my area of interest, but I wish the authors great success in finding their audience and having opportunities to produce their work upon the stage.

I love how the reviewer says that Some of the plays are painfully touching, bringing with them a mixture of anger, humor, symbolism, and absurdism. Sounds interesting.

I agree there is a lot of suffering and inhumanity in the Middle East. I do not enjoy reading plays, so will pass on this one. Congratulations on BOTD.

Based on the review, I think the book will be a wonderful journey to some of the Middle East's literature. I think it will be enjoyable to learn about other country's literature.

Wow :P An anthology of modern dramas addressing issues sounds interesting to me. The best part of anthology is reader can start from whichever story they want to.

From the review, it is evident that the playwriters did a good job of putting up the collections. Above all the editor must be commended for putting the compilations together. From all indications, this work would make a good read. Congratulations.
