I haven't read many plays before, but this sounds like a fun one to try. I'd like to see different takes on this one unique topic. Thanks for the review!

I do not have much experience with reading plays. The themes of this book appeal to me. However, right now it will be a too heavy a read for me. I intend to keep it for reading later. Thanks for your thoughtful review!

How heart-breaking! We hear the term "displaced persons" but we tend to interpret that as physically displaced persons. How sad to feel displaced emotionally and physically. Thank you for a very insightful review. I enjoyed reading it.

The description of the different play as related to the live of refugees. Today there are a continuous flow of refuges but parallel to this there are a lost of empathy. The refuges are not seems as people needed of help bu as foreign subhuman which only cause problems. "Divided World" edited by Kenneth Pickering brings the lives of the asylum seeker as another person which dreams, needs and of course a background. The different play were written by author related with this tumultuous situation. I will like to read their collected work.

I like reading good dramas. I always wondered what difficulties the immigrants go through and how those affect their lives. This book seems to give good insights by the way of great plays. Looking forward to reading it. Congrats on BOTD!

Plays can be great to read. I imagine most people participate in plays or read them in school. I enjoy them, but I don't want to read about the Middle East. It's a disheartening situation without any working resolution.

I prefer to stay away from reality when I read. I pay too much attention to news articles and have become burnt out. This does sound like a successful compilation.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting anthology of stories and plays by authors of Middle Eastern backgrounds and focus a range of issues and topics including refugees. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I'm not really a dramatic fiction reader, but it sounds like those readers that hold immigration issues near and dear to their heart will love this one.
