Review by Agnes544 -- Provoked To Anger by Cheray Gardison
It is often said that fiction uncovers the truth that reality darkens, Cheray Gardison in her book Provoked To Anger has explained the centrality of this adage. She has tended to issues that we often avoid such as suicide, negligence, absence of profound conviction, emotional and physical abuse, and many more.
The book starts out with a delicious show; Marissa a fifteen-year-old youngster had an unlawful illegal relationship with her mother's darling called Roy. She felt remorseful and told her mother everything, her mother became so crotchety and ended up calling her names instead of suing Roy in light of the fact that he misused a minor. Her mother started neglecting and mistreating her to the point that she tried suicide using iodine tablets yet nothing happened. She was later sex trafficked in Miami until she was rescued and taken to a sheltered house in Indianapolis. She found a family there and began seeking God.
Jeremy and Marissa are schoolmates who started bonding at Tamika's funeral. They later went to Marissa s home where they engaged in sexual activity. Jeremy developed feelings for Marissa yet when he conceded his notions to her she gave him the excuse that he was too nice for her, and she was not wired to treasure one man. Jeremy got debilitated and wanted his mother to give him company but his mother would hear none of it as she got busy preparing for a date with Leon. This prompted Jeremy to embarrass her mother as well as call her names since her mother brought multiple partners home. The inundating emotions obliged Jeremy to take a gun that he bought and go to Zek’s house where he shot himself in the presence of his two best friends Zek and J.R. He almost died and when he was in a coma he traveled to hell where he met ruthless beasts who were so merciless and manhandled him. He also met with the devil who told him the tricks he uses to manipulate mortals’ minds and thoughts. The devil uncovered dirty secrets that Marissa and Jeremy’s mother had hidden. Jeremy was later saved by Jesus, survived the terrible ordeal, and healed from the wound. This was a turning point for Jeremy and his mother.
The book has obvious language and in a split second shipped me into the protagonists’ reality. The plot was a page-turner and kept me speculating with the surprising turns and bends. The otherworldly scenes were profoundly expounded painting brilliant pictures in my mind. The book is loaded with Christian information and Cheray Gardison has gone the additional mile to answer the many inquiries that numerous individuals pose about God. The characters were all around formed and I plunged into the high and low snapshots of the characters. The book has made me cry a great deal of tears especially when the moms of the lead characters would genuinely neglect them.
To summarize, this book is so intriguing and has a lot of spiritual knowledge. I would give this book 4 out of 4 since I didn't discover any blunder and the book grasps the reader with its astounding plot. I would prescribe this book to guardians, adolescents, and anyone looking for answers about their confidence in God.

Yeah i totally understand why she behaved the way she would. Her promiscous behavior came about because she felt unloved by her mother and this forced her to search for love in the wrong places
