I think I also love the author's writing style and enjoyed how he introduced the characters. Even with the many characters in this book, you'd never lose track of any of them. Congratulations.

Honestly, I'm not sure about this series after reading the 1st book. But I still give it another shot and WOW! And now I'm on my 3rd. I love Galen but I agree with you that Rowan is very funny. Nice review. Keep it up!

This is really a beautiful story. Where the author manages to keep the reader on edge all along the book. The loose ends in the story makes it even more interesting to read further of the story. Thanks for a great review.

I'm a lover of fantasy genre. Glad to know this won't be a disappointing read given according to the reviewer, this book is well written, descriptive and believable dialogue. A great book for epic fantasy lovers. I'm glad I'm one of them.

This book is part of a sequel and I feel I won't get to understand the authors story. For this reason I think I would pass. Nice review

Galen Bray's story was fun for me. I read this book last year and I enjoyed it, especially after his Uncle left him an inheritance in Voulhire. That's where the story really started for me.

I am definitely a lover of fantasy, and it’s always a bonus when there’s a map of the land included at the beginning of the book. I’m not a big fan of switching between third and first person POV, but if that and what seems to be a cliffhanger ending are the biggest negatives with this book, I’ll have to remember it for when I have more time for reading for fun. Thank you for the helpful review.

I've read and loved this book. The suspense and intrigue keeps you hooked while the characters are relatable and remain in mind long after finishing the read. Thank you for the analysis and a well-written review.

I have read the book and I loved the concept and mystery that went throughout the book. The supernatural things are very interesting concept. It's a story of Galen and how he travels from lands of prince to voulhire. The place is full of mysteries and many things are there to unfold. It's a great review.

Surely Mathew has done an excellent job in these series. I'm glad that I have read and reviewed this book before. Getting into a new land having not known the future then you find out to have landed into richness suddenly is so much favour. Galen presented a great role in this work. Congratulations on BOTD.

The review of this book has me completely sold! Plus the fact that it has over 400 OBC reviews! I am really impressed. The story sounds intriguing and engrossing, and I'm super curious to read about the tales of Galen in this epic fantasy. Thanks for sharing!
