Very nice review! Although I'm not one for self-help books , I truly appreciate the author for using her life experiences to try and inspire readers.

This isn't a genre I tend to like but the way you have described it makes me want to check it out. I often wonder what a life well lived might be and the inspiration for telling a life story to illustrate that is provoking. Great review.

I wonder if it's just me or this book appeared like a children's book with its title and cover. I love the author's determination not to miss another opportunity again and would like to imitate such resolution. I'm not too keen on self-help books at the moment, but I'm willing to check this one out. Thanks for sharing.

At times the flow of the writing was hampered; it felt more like a list of events happening one after another, and less like a cohesive story. Better transitions from one event to the next may have helped the book earn a higher rating.
I appreciate the insightful observation. I hope the author may still improve it. Nice review. Thanks!

The title caught me off guard! A self-help novel was not what I expected, but I am intrigued. Self-help books are usually hit or miss and I would love to see where this one falls. Thank you for your awesome review.

The author has a very conversational tone to her writing. It's as if she's speaking directly to you, perhaps out on the back deck, telling stories. My favorite line referred to her participation on the LA Marathon: "Lose a few toenails, gain grand life experience." Congratulations to the reviewer for an insightful review, and to the author for achieving BOTD.

I love how the author is using her life experiences and turning them into life lessons! Reading the sample, the story did not seem very cohesive but I love her positivity and how she is trying to help others. I do not typically read self help books but I may read this one in the future thanks to your review!
