That's a really well put opening paragraph and good review all round. I would add that the book should be recommended to everyone, given the social nature of stigmatisation.

I'd love reading this collection of emotional and inspirational stories about solo moms who ended up raising their children by themselves whether by choice or forced by different circumstances. All my love and admiration for these courageous women! Thanks for your review!

We Got This~ is a Wonderful Handbook Written for every single mother out there. It speaks out their lives and concepts, as single women. Marika Lindholm, Cheryl Dumesnil, and a host of others, did a fantastic job of bringing together these women's stories in We Got It.

The Book continues to unfold of single moms from different races, ethnicities, orientations, and committees. They eleborated about their lives as single moms. The aim of this book is to fully focus on single moms, a wonderful handbook every single women should read.

Being a parent is one of the most challenging roles I have ever been given. Even with two parents, it's hard, so I can't imagine what it's like to be a solo parent. This book sounds like it offers experiences, triumphs and heartbreaks--all things that the women that have authored this book have endured. Thank you for the engaging review.

I believe women possess a unique ability in life. This is evident how solo mums surmount challenges to raise children and even sustain themselves. I cherish women, and I'd love to read this book. Great review

Thanks for the excellent review! The plight of solo moms is not easy, for sure! Your review brings out a lot of great points. I'm sure some of the stories in the book are heartbreaking, yet also hold hope for those who are just beginning being a solo mom, for whatever reason. You're right, sometimes it is because of abuse, divorce, death, etc. Whatever the reason solo moms should be revered!

I know how tough raising kid(s) is and I have the utmost respect for solo moms. Regardless of what society says, they are the ones that stayed. It's so heartwarming to know you are not alone on the journey; that there are people out there who are or have experienced the same things. This is a great book and I think everyone should read it, solo mom, or not.

I love that the book allows solo moms to share their motherhood journey. It is no walk in the park being a mom and going through the paces alone is even tougher. This book touches close to home and speaks to my heart. I wish all solo moms God's grace as they raise their kids. Thank you for your well-written review.

This book was really an eye opener for me. I really appreciated the strong character choice of the author. it made me feel a different kind of respect towards single mums or solo mums as they are referred to in the book. I also appreciated the challenges faced by most of the characters as well as how they were able to overcome most of them.

A book that aims to encourage all solo moms out there with the stories of several others who have gone through something similar and understand what they might be going through is always a welcome read for me. I recommend this book to all solo moms out there. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD.

Such an incredible book I've seen after a long time. Even the words written in the book tells you that they comes from the tip of a mother who knows what it is like to be a mother who has struggled. I'll be very pleased and grateful to a have a share in those moms stories by reading it. A lovely representation.
