Sounds like she had a very difficult life. Good of her to help others using her life as an example. Thanks for the review.

I consider this book as a self help book. Here reviewer mentioned core of the book that is 6c's. I am huge fan of self help book as they help to bring great out of your lives. Here author has stated about her past, her struggle and what she could have done to be happy. I like how reviewer got onto her favorite part that is appendix of book. Which must be comprising of some questionnaires and you have to answer same to check how well you are doing in your life.

I am looking forward to read this book and make life better.

The process of changing long held experiences is something that needs time and effort, so this is a book to work with. Thank for the review.

Although I could not relate to co-dependent behavior and low self-esteem, I appreciate the author's story. The six C's were very good. I am certain it will help a lot of people. And I can see how it must have been very therapeutic to write the book. Very nice review!

The book seems to tackle the problems most people go through, especially in the aspect of depending on people to keep their emotions stable. Although everyone has a choice of going about their lifestyle in a way they think is right, I think this book sheds light on some crucial points. Good Review!

The "helper" behaviour is one of my biggest problems. I end up giving to people way more than they deserve, which results in me getting hurt to the point that I had to entirely shut myself out. This book seems like something that I could use. Thank you for the review.

Sounds like an amazing book, very inspirational and motivating. It's great that the author is so open with her readers. Thanks for the great review!
"You can be more aware and more present simply by resting in the present moment, open to all that is, without trying to control it or grasp it with the mind. Truly, a marvelous way of being!"

Great review! But self-help books are not for me. Even after reading the Amazon review I still felt this wasn’t for me, but great review!

"Sometimes our greatest enemy is ourselves, our attitudes, and our false beliefs."
I can see how this would be especially true when someone bases their beliefs on opinions rather than facts.
"avoidance: some codependent people engage in unhealthy, extreme ways to avoid getting emotionally hurt, avoiding intimacy at all cost"
Interesting.
By Utilizing the 6 Cs (Care, Compassion, Control, Concern, Consideration, and Communication), the ability to avoid dependent behavior and negativity is effortless.
While it may prove difficult to apply during a disagreement with someone, It is easy to understand how exercising such traits is essential to progressing past such problems.

Thank you for the informative review. Another helpful book recommendation worth checking out.
