The first burglary that the reader is exposed to involves the stealing of an expensive pearl necklace. A brief history of how this said set of pearls came into being is also given. This fact causes the reader to wonder if this really was a random robbery or if it is somehow connected to the origins of the pearl necklace. Only time will tell.
The chapters are also short which is a plus as it makes the reading of the book that easier to achieve.

I enjoyed the sample of this book, and I like crime thrillers. My TBR pile is quite large and I’m in the fence in this one, I think I’ll circle back to it in the future. I’m intrigued enough to see what happens next!
