This book sounds interesting for the readers who are managers or are looking for becoming managers. The author's story also sounds inspiring and I love the fact that there are some real life experiences in this book. I think this is not for me since I'm not into business books, but I enjoyed reading your review. Thanks!

Definitely not my area of expertise. Like at all. And I don't have even slightest interest in the subject. To be completely honest, I wouldn't even know what to do with information from this book. Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book, but congrats on BOTD all the same!

The author's experiences in different fields equipped him to write this book. I expect many aspiring managers will learn a lot from it. I like that his wife managed him well.

A nice guidance for managers to be successful is given in the book "Inside the Mind of a Successful CEO" by David V. Mastran. This book shares vital insights that are important for the managers to perform better. The possible mistake any manager would do is either directing, controlling, understanding people, defining goals, or setting achievable goals. The book appears quite valuable.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Sounds like a valuable book to the intended audience. I have no doubt that this book is not only good for aspiring managers but would help a reader grow personally too! Sadly, this is not at all my genre as I usually read fiction to escape the real world. For the better or for worse

Thank you for such a thorough review!

A work in which the author shares his broad experience as a manager. It contains useful knowledge for those who have managerial positions or who wish to have one. Also, It appeals to entrepreneurs. I like some approaches focused on learning from mistakes since I believe that many times more is learned from mistakes than from successes. This book catches my attention.

Sounds like a well written self help book. It's nice that it is personable as many of these types of books come off preachy.

I think it's fascinating that the author comes from such a variety of backgrounds, being an ex-military officer, opening a music business, etc. This will definitely be a great resource for people seeking to improve their business management skillsets. Thanks for the review.

Thanks, but this book definitely isn't for me, as I don't like self-help books. Also, I have zero interest in being an entrepreneur, or even in management; I don't like the idea of the "buck" stopping with me, I like being able to say it's "not MY rule"!

"Inside the Mind of a Successful CEO" by David V. Mastran - The author has the experience to write a book on successful management as well as the ability to structure the book to be easily assimilated. Anyone who has ever "managed" will see themselves in his examples. Very nice review. Thanks.

The author provides a wealth of practical insight in managing a business. It is a combination of teaching the basics, history, and development of management along with sharing his life experiences in military as well as lessons learned from his mistakes as CEO of MAXIMUS and co-owner of QuaverMusic. This informative, educational book is well-written and well-organized, and comes highly recommended for anyone interested in management. Great review!

Great review! This book is the equivalent of a college course in hands-on management of projects. As a project manager myself, I appreciated the stories and personal experience that the author brought to the book. The part of my career I wish I could re-do is beating myself up for mistakes. They are inevitable! Learn from them and move on.
