I also have to commend the author for having the courage to publish her innermost thoughts and feelings. Poetry is not my preferred genre, though, so I will be skipping this book. Thanks for an informative and well-written review!

Your description of the rawness of the poems makes me think that this was a catharsis for the poet, which usually makes for some great poetry. I hope she follows through with your suggestions.

I think you may be right about the catharsis, and I certainly do hope that improvements will be made to elevate the book as a whole. Thank you for your response.

I love poetry and despite its flaws I'm tempted to give Diary of the Silent Soul a chance. Thank you for your honest and detailed review!

Such a pity! I am a fan of poetry, but hopefully I will be able to revisit this once the errors have been fixed. Thank you so much for insightful and thorough review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

I like the serious themes discussed in this book such as racism and suicide. This because there are issues that affect all of us in significant ways. Thanks for the insightful review.

I love reading poems and themes of love, stereotypes, racism, and suicide really makes me want to read this one. But I sincerely hope the writer takes your words into account and makes this book go through another round of editing. Thank you for your elaborate and amazing review!
