We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the first book of the fantasy series "We are Voulhire". This book was written by Matthew Tysz. The story centers on Galen Bray, a refugee who has escaped from his war-torn home and immigrated to Voulhire with the help of his uncle's executor. And now that he is on a country full of mysteries, he comes to learn not only about that country, but about the world he lived in. The people living in Voulhire are called Voulhirians. But among these Voulhirians, there are those who seek destruction and power. Some people who hide among the dark and find the right time to attack. The right time to kill, and reign not just the Voulhire, but rule the whole world. The "We are Voulhire" series consist of nine books.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a story about the life of Galen Bray, the protagonist of the story. It started when he travel from his hometown to the country where his uncle lived, the Voulhire. With his journey, he travel the different towns of the country Voulhire. While he learns about the forging thing his uncle inheritance him, there are tragic things that happened in different towns. Wars, massacre and many more. During the time he is learning the forge business his uncle left him, he explored some things that will lead him to the mystery kept not just the Voulhire country, but the world where Galen is moving.

Galen Bray is the protagonist of the story. He is a kind and smart guy. His uncle's executor named Rowan, helped him through his journey. Though it was really not a help because he was paid to do so. There are a lot of characters in the story, but I can't tell you their roles. You might get slightly spoiled. There are characters such as Meldorath, Eldus, Marshus, Wilhelm, and many more to tell. And I assure you, that you will actually like some of these characters. Even though some characters faced tragic chapters in their life, you will like some of them.

Matthew Tysz the author of the book. I want to list him as one of my favorite authors. He made such wonderful books. I actually loved it, even though at the first part of the book it seems kind of boring. But I didn't leave the book because I know there will be a very interesting chapter. And I haven't mistaken. This book is a lit, I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. What I don't like in this book are some point of views, scenes and chapters are what I think, doesn't need in the book. I liked in this book is there been a lot of character developments, amazing fight scenes, and many more to list down. I didn't rate the book perfect stars because there are some typographical errors such as lack of space, wrong spelling and such. I think another round of proofreading and editing will cover those mistakes. I recommend this book to those who like thriller, action, magic and wars. I don't recommend this to young readers. There are scenes that are not allowed for young audiences. And I'm happy to announce that I'm lucky because I think I can read and review the second and third book. So hope to see you guys again! Happy reading and reviewing!

I also enjoyed this one! I didn't mind the several points of view, though it does get confusing at first. Thanks for sharing👍👍
